Valerie's Journal I haven't written in a long time; music taking a back seat to other creative pursuits like painting and essay writing. I've had a few essays published and read on air at WAMC and in the Times Union Newspaper. It's a wonderful outlet for expression and actually dovetails into relating to songs I've written. I'm thinking of putting together a book of the essays and then the lyrics of their related song with a disc of the music. In the meantime, I'm concentrating on getting my kids through college.
